Ballochdale is one of Marlborough's most notable vineyard's on a spectacular site in the Awatere Valley. A total canopy of 26.86ha producing premium wines and held in high regard by several well respected wine companies and industry commentators.
The vineyard comprises of 18.3ha of Pinot Noir (planted 2002/2003) and 8.56ha of Sauvignon Blanc has a proven production history. The mature vines, selected clones, soil, sloping northern aspect and the regions climate provide ideal terroir for premium quality fruit.
A large storage dam provides security for the summer months with four frost fans assisting the sloping contours for frost protection.
Held in two titles with a total land area of 43.06ha.
Historically supplying notable wine companies and with supply agreements soon to be ending, the in-going purchaser will have access to part of the upcoming harvest.
